Mentoring

Welcome to the MCDC mentoring programme

This mentoring programme has been developed to provide continued support to a group of postdoctoral scientists based in sub-Saharan Africa.  It is intended to help these individuals with their personal, professional and career development, so that they are able to reach their full potential as self-reliant, self-confident and independent scientific researchers.

A set of tutorials and resource materials have been developed to help support the programme and all those involved in the programme.  In addition, they aim to encourage a shared understanding of how the MCDC mentoring programme works, so that it is driven by common expectations, and thus help to promote the success of the programme.
